SSCY Family Resource Centre Library
In this family-friendly centre, there are over 2000 harder-to-find resources about special needs and general health issues, such as:
books, videos and DVDs about specific disabilities or conditions
story books about or including children with special needs
books addressing the concerns of siblings and parents
general parenting resources
education issues
pamphlets
newsletters
magazines and journals
You can borrow most things for four weeks. We can mail resources to Manitoba locations outside of Winnipeg.

A Toy Lending Library
Our Take-Out-Toy Services (TOTS) program has many specially adapted electronic toys and developmental toys. You can contact the Family Resource Centre at (204) 258-6533 for more information.
RCC Specialized Communication Resources for Children (SCRC) Library
At the SCRC Library you can borrow books and games that use picture communication symbols. There are over 700 picture books you can borrow. The books and games use the same symbols that speech apps use, so they are easy to read!

RCC Active Living Centre Equipment – Short-Term Equipment Loan Program
The Active Living Centre has equipment that you can borrow to be more active. We want you to have an active and healthy lifestyle. You can borrow equipment for several weeks at a time. Please select an item below to view pictures of the equipment.

Chill-Out chairs
Specialized life jackets, flotation devices, and wet suits
Bob-skates and skate stabilizers
Oversized racquets and birdies
Adapted cooking equipment
Games (eg ring toss, croquet)
Adapted gardening tools
